Restless Spirit Bows

Through the mists of time the bow has endured. It has been man's tool and constant companion for nearly twenty thousand years. It has provided food, sport and protection. An elegant weapon that required the utmost skill and conditioning.

The bow has always suited its purpose in varied surroundings and has been a source of fascination to many. Though times have changed the spirit of archery has not. If you cherish the crisp twang of the bowstring, the true flight of a well sent arrow, or if you find yourself day dreaming about roving with a stick and string than you have a restless spirit.

Located in northern California, Redding; near the Straight Arrow Bowhunters club range. Restless Spirit Bows has been crafting traditional laminated longbows and recurves for nearly a decade. The bows are laminated construction using a combination of hardwoods and composites. We specialize in hybrid longbows and composite bow designs. All our bows are custom crafted to client requests. Our bows are suited to traditional bowhunters and target shooters alike.

At Restless Spirit Bows our philosophy is that there are time tested designs and materials that cannot be ignored. Many designs have evolved over centuries. Such as parallel limbs like in the Holmegaard flatbow, extreme recurves like in ancient asiatic bows; and many others. We gladly incorporate these designs to celebrate the craftsman that came before us. That is our tradition. We also like to use the latest advances in archery; such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, and precision ground laminates and many others to make our designs innovative.
